About Our Database
We have created a database for Pet
Supplies Plus’ Grooming department. Currently the grooming department does not have a database to search previous customers or any information about their grooming services and available products. We have created this database to make it easier for the groomers and sales associates to search past customers, add new customers, view information about current pets and keep track f new inventory and specials being advertised.
This database has eight tables, Customers, Employees, Order, Order-Service, Pets, Product-Order, Products and Services. These eight tables extensively list all of our customers and pets past orders, products used, payment methods and groomer preference. The new database will make it easy for our groomers to check-in and out guests at a touch of a button! Their employees will have access to all of their customers pets and vet records, which make it seamlessly easy to preform grooming procedures without the risk of allergic reaction or customer dissatisfaction. While having a large amount of information available to Pet Supplies Plus’ employees, this database is extremely user friendly and will minimize the amount of dissatisfied customers because of forgotten preferences. This database also provides information quickly and accurately.
The database is also used to generate various reports. These reports include employee experience, employee salary, customers form of payment, customers that do not have a loyalty membership and profit margin.
